I know it's a ways out but the weather gussers are looking favorably on us!

Okay, just got back from 450 pre ride. We rode 340 miles on day 1, went to Burnt Cabins, 225 miles.. took care of menu, etc and then rode an additional 3+ hours of day 2 till we made it to Pine Grove, PA.. and spent Saturday night there. (340 mile day of Backroads, my aching neck and ass) Left early in the AM in rain (Sunday’s ride) and rode home the whole way in kinda cold, rainy conditions.. 51 degrees, etc. Saturday’s ride we fought GALE FORCE winds!, omfg.. crossing the Susquehanna was a butt clencher.

Anyway, the ride: I’d describe Saturday’s ride as 15-70-15. The first and last 15% are technical.. especially leading right up to Burnt Cabins.. suspension tester! I swear I got air a bunch of times and a few 10 mph 180 degree switchbacks leading straight uphill and/or downhill. BTW, When you get out of that mountain pass and within 5 miles of Burnt Cabins, you’ll be in the town of Fannettsburg. I saw a Fannettsburg Bar, you probably can buy your “package goods” there if you’re so inclined, I’d recommend stopping there. This is PA wasteland...

(I may make an easier end for someone I know that is very afraid of mountain passes.. so don’t worry). Sunday is all beautiful scenery, sweepers with very, very few stops...long miles of just flowing riding.

Menu!
Saturday Night: served at 6:00

Grilled Chicken
Rigatoni w sausage in a cacciatore sauce (may change slightly, up to their chef)
Baked potato and sweet potato
Sautéed Veggie blend
BBQ beans w bacon
Burnt Cabins Grist Mill skillet cornbread
Homemade peanut butter tandycake CAKE
Shoofly pie
Ice Cream
Home brewed sweet iced tea
Lemonade, water, sodas

Sunday breakfast: coffee at 6am, breakfast served 7-8:30am

Burnt Cabins Grist Mill own Pancakes
Sausage
Fresh fruit
Coffe, hot tea, chocolate
Milk, orange juice
And maybe a surprise..

Now.. if after reading this.. you don’t sign up, WTH? :twisty1 :rider
