Thanks everyone for coming and making the ride pretty easy for me... We had A LOT more show up than I expected... luckily Bob Smith had loaded the route onto his GPS and took half the group, We picked up Vince S. and Karen Rehrig along the way and finally Johnny Zoomtoob up in Sandy Hook.

I seem to attract bike races!!! The NS450 and yesterday we must've sat 20 minutes at an intersection before they let us go..

BTW, Hope you guys enjoyed seeing my new house along the Navesink River in Rumson.. Nice, Huh!? :P

I felt like most of the time was spent on the bike. I think we were there for 45 min tops. I had a burger & dog, talked with a few guys and we were headed back. Sandy hook via the back roads is two hours+ each way. Very nice ride. Phil did a great job of finding a route and leading. I don't think we lost anyone there or back and considering the turns and what not that's impressive.

The Shore riders did a great job and I felt bad we just ate and ran but we left at 930ish and I got home around 4pm and for a Sunday that's a full day. Something to think about for the future. . .

I don't think I snapped a picture but I know some of the shore riders did so hopefully they will share.

It was a great ride, even with the bike delay! Sorry, but I took no pics.

But I did meet another Chromehead, Charlie from somewhere up north.
