Sounds like you might like a Roof Top Tent. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
In years of owning a VW and kayaking. I've camped with a few rooftop tents. The issue is getting in and out of them. It's a bad fall. Honestly The best of all words is a small conversion van. Pull in and crawl in the back. get up and go. The kompact kamp trailers are really popular with the air cooled VW owners. It's hard not to find them cool. It's a doll house on wheels. I'd bet more are pulled behind 4-wheels then two.

I always like the idea of doing the RTT on a trailer if you dont plan offroading. Less wind block and easy to climb in.

I needed to replace the door lock since Ernie couldn’t find the key. :bang
Home Depot to the rescue. $9.99 but the shaft needs to be cut down a bit. Maintenance department to the rescue Monday.
I think I will replace the bolts as well. These are a bit rusty.

LED lights are in. Walmart has them for 5 bucks. I may add a second set to the front of the camper. They are USB powered and controlled by a remote.

Will there be a lava lamp ???
Inquiring minds want to know
...nowadays I have two good wheels
And I seek refuge in aluminum and steel
It takes me out there for just a little while
And the years fall away with every mile
