Located at the West end of the Cherohala Pky in Tellico Plains, Tn. a small campground that's run by a couple originally from New Jersey. They offer everything you need, the cabins are new, clean and reasonably priced as are the tent locations. I think they have a few RV sites. They have a limited (but sufficient) breakfast selection or a quick 5 mile ride will get you to the cafe/restaurants in Tellico Plaines. Owners are friendly and will go out of their way to make your stay a pleasant one.

I've run the Tellico river a few times but never explored it on bike. looks like a nice campground.
