Plan a ride

Anyone who is planning on attending the MOA get together at The Shady Maple... Lynn and I are planning on riding up.

If you would like to join us meet at the Pilot Station in Pennsville just off 295 for a twisty group ride there and back.

Forecast is calling for 60 degrees on Saturday!

As of right now, I'm planning on coming(meeting you guys at the Pilot).

I see some rain in the forecast, so as long as it isn't monsooning...I'll be there.

Edit(1/6/26): now showing 80% of rain. Not sure if I really want to cage it. Will make a decision in the next couple of days.

With the WX forecast showing 90% chance of rain for Saturday and all of the salt on the roads, I'm just going to drive my truck up there on Saturday.

I'll still stop at the Pilot station.

At this time I am leaning toward riding but either way we will be at the Pilot by 9:00-9:15 nothing like a Long Wheelbase Extended Van and a Pickup on the twisties!

I want to ride. But I also know how miserable and uncomfortable I'll be after strapping on the feedbag. So I'm weighing being miserable in a warm dry cage against being miserable, cold and wet on the bike 😁. Hopefully, the rain won't be bad.

We are reserving the decision of riding or caging until late Friday or Saturday AM but we will be there...

I made the decision to drive after listening to the weather tonight and heard them calling for 1/2-1" of rain, and it's almost 2.5 hours from my house to the Smorgasboard, so that's a soggy ride 😂

Combine that with all the salt on the roads getting liquified...

Latest report has "Rain Becoming Heavy" for Saturday... We will be caging it!

We will be leaving home about 8:30 AM to allow for the weather...
